Good 19C Qama Quadara Short Sword - 10701

This sword is of Persian origin and it is also known as Quadara. A similar sword is found in central Asian countries and in the Caucasus but sometimes called Qama. This specimen has a 23 1/2. inches long slightly up-curving and single edge blades with a 4 inches false edge. The blade is fullered with inscriptions and engarving. Dated 1310 (1892 in the Gregorian calender). Black baffalo horn grips mounted with three iron rivets . Total length 29 1/2 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
