This spear shaped steel blade is coming from Sudan, late 19 C. It is most probably a ceremonial spear or a battle standard. 7 ½ inches long 5 ½ inches wide blade, entirely covered with etched inscription in Arabic letters. Wood grip covered with leather. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition.
