This fine knife is from the west Sahara region, used by the Tuareg and others residing in the region. Finely forged blade single edged and slightly up rising at the tip, 8 ½ inches long finely engraved on the short ricasso. Hardwood grip with silver mounts and finely carved ivory pommel. Tooled leather scabbard. Total length 13 inches. Very good plus condition.
