A very fine bullet container from the Balkan area of the Ottoman Empire, made of chased and nielloed heavy silver 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 inches. Beautifully chased silver with dense niello design. Balkan origin. Although the theme is Turkish the work and general design looks Greek. Early to mid 19 C. Very good plus condition.
