A Keris Penjang , also sometimes referred to as Execution Keris from Sumatra, early 20 C. The blade is 20 inches long, forged from pamor steel. The hilt and scabbard are very finely carved from Hippopotamus ivory. Fine grained wood scabbard. Total length 24 ½ inches. Very good condition. Small old repair on the scabbard mouth and a very minor damage to the pommel. A very fine piece.
