The Beja daggers with the big X shaped handle, sometimes known as Hadendoa or Beni Amer comes from the West South shores of the red sea. This example is known as the “Hooked” shaped blade with a 9 1/2 inches blade and X shaped blackwood handle. Total length 13 ˝ inches. Very good condition. Blackened areas and pitted spots on the blade.
