Up for sale is this fine Koumaya Dagger from Morocco dated to 1313 (1895 in the Gregorian calendar). Classical blade, 9 inches long, double edged at its lower half and single edged at the top. The handle is carved from a single massive piece of Rhino horn with a very clear fibrous structure. The pommel head is chased silver as well as the grip collar and scabbard, marked with the local silver proof mark and dated to 1313. Total length16 inches. Very good condition. The silver pommel has few small cracks.
