A very good Arab Jambiya dagger, early 20 C. from Oman. It has 8 inches curved and dual edge blade of good steel with a pronounced central rib. The hilt is honey colored Rhino horn covered with dense structure of silver nails on the front side and mounted with chased silver collar. The scabbard is “L” shaped covered with fabric and bound with golden threads. The belt attachment is made of complicate arrangements of silver rings and twisted silver wire. Total length is 12 inches. Original silver / gold brocade belt. Very good condition. Small losses to the golden threads on the scabbard.
