This spear is from Zaire, probably Ngombe or Doko, early to mid 20 C. Massive leaf shaped 15 inches blade forged with a shallow central line together with a 9 inches socket. The haft is wood with a swollen grip at the end and the tip bound with iron bands. Total length 58 inches. Very good condition. Original black patina on the blade and the wood haft.
