Royal top quality Pusuka Keris dagger from Sumatra, 19 C. Straight and robust blade 15 ½ inches long with hollow diamond cross section, originally not visible pamor structure with renewed bluing. Gold inlay floral design on the upper part of the Ganja. Intricately carved ivory grip. Beautifully grained wood scabbard covered with gold / copper alloy (Sawossa). Unfortunately there is an age crack in the grip and the very tip of the Garuda beak is broken. There is a small area of damage to the gold sleeve on the rear side of the scabbard. Outstanding piece in quality and rareness, for the advanced collector of Kerises.
