This yataghan sword is of Balkan origin, mid 19 C. The blade is very well forged, most probably laminated steel and marked with a maker sign. The handle is silver decorated with granular silver work, Original scabbard covered with leather and with the original spiral stitching with brass wires. Blade length 22 inches, Total length 27 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the leather.
