This Kard knife is Persian, late 18C. Massive 9 inches blade forged from fine wootz (Watered, Damascus) steel with ve3ry high contrast. The steel bolsters are also forged from wootz steel. Bone grips and steel grip strap. Late made wood scabbard with violet velvet cover. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition. Some chips and small losses on the bone grips. The bone grips are old but probably later replacement on this Kard knife.
