A very old version of the famous Indian Kattar (Katar) push dagger. A development stage between the Pata, the long gauntlet sword and the Kattar, the short push dagger. Massive blade , 10 inches long 2 inches wide and multifullered and riveted to the handle. The handle is protected with a steel hood. Both the side bars and the hood are beautifully chiseled. Total length 17 inches. Very good condition.
