This very good Kattar push dagger is coming from North India, early 19 C. Massive deeply fullered blade with armor piercing tip, 8 ½ inches, forged from very fine wootz steel. Gold decorated cross bars and side bars. Total length 16 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor forging flawes and very minor blackened spots on the blades. Some losses to the gold work . As common with similar kattar, only the fullers are etched to show the wootz pattern where the edges are left polished.
