This small axe is of the Bullova style, a wide family of Indian axes which takes many shapes and sizes. The axe head is of the moustache style, 6 inches long and 3 inches wide. The wood pole is 26 ½ inches bound with natural fibers and later thread (probably added to cover a crack in the haft). Silver mounts and traces of silver koftgari work on the blade and the socket. Very good condition.
