This Jambiya dagger is Indian, mid to late 19 C. Well forged 8 inches blade with a central rib, in the style of the Arab Jambiya dagger. The3 grip is carved from a solid piece of jadeite with a white metal band at the lower part. Wood scabbard covered with light color velvet mounted with a silver tip. Total length 13 ½ inches. Very good condition. A fine piece.
