This Miquelet gun is Persian, late 18 – early 19C. Good steel barrel 35 ½ inches long with traces of silver inlay and maker mark. The wood stock is entirely covered with fine mosaic work made of very small pieces of bone, wood and brass. Total length 43 ½ inches. Good condition. Lock in working order (with old solder repairs). Small areas of losses to the mosaic work. Ram rod missing. Barrel band later.
