Up for sale is this massive Khyber short sword, with heavy blade 20 inches long and 3 inches wide, forged from pattern welded steel and with engraved inscriptions on both sides. The grips are large size, with forked pommel, carved from elephant ivory. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. The inscription on the blade are from Mysore and the sword most probably comes from the Mysore palace armoury.
