This dagger is a Bichwa, a rare blade in the Indian arsenal, meaning: ‘The Scorpion Sting’. It is old, late 17 or early 18 Century. The blade is double edged, re-curving, 9 inches long and slightly swollen at its tip. The hilt is heavy, whole steel ring shaped, and riveted to the top of the blade. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition, Minor forging flaws.
