This throwing spear is from Zaire, probably Ngombe, early to mid 20 C. 21 inches blade with decorative piercing forged together with a 5 inches socket. The haft is wood bound with iron and brass strips and with carved bulbous grip in its center. Steel tip. Total length 56 inches. Very good condition.
