Fine Pichok Knife with Carved Ivory Grips, Bukhara - 10356

This Knife is most probably coming from Bukhara, early to mid 19 C. also known as Pichok, the Uzbek name for a Bichaq. Classical massive blade 8 ½ inches long, forged in one piece with the bolster and grip strap. Beautifully carved ivory grips showing lions and leopards attacking antelopes. Wood scabbard with green velvet cover and silver locket. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition. |
