This unusual short sword is coming from West Africa, most probably of the Fon people of Dahomey (Today the Republic of Benin). Blade is 17 inches long up curving to almost a full circle at the tip. Wood handle with silver mounts. Total length 21 ½ inches. Very good condition. Lightly pitted areas on the blade. A rare sword.
