This Kattar push dagger is Indian early to mid 19C. Massive blade forged from Indian (Crystalline) wootz steel, 8 ½ inches long nicely fullered. It is etched in the center only to show the wootz pattern where the edges are kept highly polished. Heavy armor piercing tip. The handle was covered with a silver foil all around, now damaged in parts. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition.
