Up for sale is this fine Koumaya Dagger from Morocco. Classical blade of good quality, 8 ½ inches long, double edged at its lower half and single edged at the top. The blade is stamped 8888 with what might look as a maker mark. The handle is carved from elephant ivory and mounted with chiseled mounts. Silver scabbard, chiseled with Moroccan classical design. Total length 15 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Age crack in the ivory on one side of the grip.
