This Kattar push dagger is Indian early to mid 19C. specifically intended to penetrate mail armor. The narrow thick blade is 6 inches long forged from finely laminated steel, nicely fullered. Original scabbard covered with green velvet and mounted with a silver tip (later). Total length 12½ inches. Very good condition. Traces of old brazing repair near the blade base.
