Up for sale is this early Kard knife, Persian origin, probably mid 18 C. Fine wootz blade, 8 inches long with traces of gold koftgari work. Whole steel handle of cylindrical form ribbed all around also decorated with silver koftgari work. Original leather scabbard. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition to age. Some losses to the gold and silver decoration. A fine unusual piece.
