A very fine representative of the family of Khyber swords. This one is coming from North India, with a 16 inches blade, with a pronounced T spine. The blade is forged from fine Wootz (Damascus, watered) steel and it is finely inlaid with gold and silver koftgari decoration. Ivory grips with silver bolsters and silver covered grip strap. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition. An old crack in the blade but it holds very solid.
