This is a rare and original 18 C. steel ingot from India, made of wootz, already partially forged to a long ingot shape, ready to be traded and forged into a wootz blade. 1960 Grams weight, 17 1/2 inches long, 1– 21/2 inches wide and 13 mm thick. One of the sides is marked with an armory mark. Unique piece for the weapon collector, steel researcher or blade smith expert.
