This fine and heavy Kattar push dagger is Indian late 18C. Massive blade forged from fine Indian (Crystalline) wootz steel, 9 ½ inches long. The side bars and cross bars are thickly inlaid with gold decoration. Very good silver mounted scabbard (later to the blade). Total length 16 ½ inches. Very good condition. Losses to the gold inlay. Very impressive Kattar.
