We offer for sale this beautiful 19 Century Persian straight sword also known as Revival sword, as it was reviving the use of old 15 C style Islamic straight swords. This beautiful blade is 29 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide. The entire blade is elaborately etched on its two faces in the typical Qajar style with human figures and styled Arabic inscriptions. The hilt is steel, with down curving quillons, Total length 36 inches. Original scabbard with steel mounts and blue velvet cover (recent). Very good condition.
