This Pesh Kabz style dagger is Persian, Qajar period, mid to late 19 C. Whole steel construction with a re-curving 9 inches blade with a pronounced T shaped spine. Steel handle with a bird shaped pommel and steel scabbard both richly decorated with chiseled human figures and hunting scenes on the background of dense vegetation. Total length 15 ½ inches. Very good condition.
