This fine matched pair of pistols is Turkish, late 18 C. The pistols were most probably of European make, signed on both locks plate (one mark worn) and on the both barrels (identical marks). The Turkish style chased silver covers were added to fit the \turkish market. Barrels 14 inches. Total 22 inches. Very good condition. Locks are in perfect working order. One main spring and few bolts are a later replacement in the old style. Minor dents and small repairs on the silver plates.
