This knife is coming from Zimbabwe / South Africa region, most probably of the Shona people. It is of a different shape of the classical Shona daggers but the style and decoration are the same. Blade is 6 inches, laminated steel (probably cut down and re-shaped from a European blade). Wood handle and scabbard bound both with twisted brass and steel wires in a typical Shona style. Total length 10 1/2 inches. Very good condition, The belt6 hanging loop is damaged.
