This is a very nice small Turkish Dagger in the Kindjal style. The dual edge blade with central fuller is 6 inches long. The hilt is walrus ivory in a very classical Turkish design: I shaped, diamond cross section and much wider at the pommel. The scabbard is wood, covered with red velvet and mounted with silver locket and chape with typical 19 Century Ottoman chased design, especially the bundle of weapons on the chape. Excellent condition, very minor chips of the grip ivory only.
