This Kattar dagger was ideally designed for armor piercing. The massive blade is 7 1/2 inches long, narrow and very thick: 5/8 inch (16 mm) in its thickest point. It is forged from Indian wootz (crystalline) and deeply fullered for lower weight and higher strength. Steel handle with five cross bars to allow strong grip. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. A massive and impressive 19 C. Kattar.
