This specific one is a very good exemplar. mid 19 C., 8 inches massive fullered blade with a ridged spine. Short wide elephant ivory handle with very god age patina. Wood scabbard with silver cover and the down extend3ed mouth set with decorative silver inserts. Total length 11 1/2.. Very good condition. Blackened spots on the blade. Two silver inserts are missing.
