Up for sale is this very fine Turkish dagger in the style of the Caucasian Kindjal / Qama. Mid 19 C. Very fine Wootz (Damascus, watered) steel with clear high contrast pattern on the entire blade. Gold inlay decoration (koftgari) on the blade base on both sides. Finely engraved silver handle and scabbard with traces of previous gilding. Blade 12 inches. Total 18 1/2 inches. Very good plus condition.
