This sword is from the 17 C South India with an earlier 16 C. blade. The blade is very long 40 inches, slender and fullered, single edged with a 2 1/2 inches ricasso. White metal handle with a bird shape pommel with red stones set in the eyes. Total length 46 inches. Very good condition to age. Well patinated blade with two holes that indicate the secondary use off the earlier blade.
