Good Suma Greek Ramrod for Pistols - 10051

The Greek warriors used this Suma as a Ramrod for their pistols. It was carried on the belt (sash) and was used also for other purposes, sometime including blades, tweezers etc. This is a classical example, steel blade in a steel sheath with decorated brass handle with swivel top carrying 7 coin like tokens with the head of Victoria queen of ggreat Britain on one side and the inscription SPIEL MARKE on the other side. The acronym AEM, probably of the owner are crudely engraved on several spots on the Suma. Blade 9 inches Total 15 1/2 inches. Very Good condition. |
