One of the rarest forms of kerises, the Coteng from the Malayan peninsula. Short, undulating, very old blade, 12 1/2 inches long forged from pamor steel. Hardwood hilt in the Coteng typical shape with its long beak. Wood scabbard. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Blade with age patina. Tip of scabbard is lightly damaged. A very rare piece.
