Not exactly a weapon but a very good example of early to mid 19 C. Ottoman decorative arts. This a silver box to old the Koran was in many cases part of the Turkish solider accessories, hanged on the belt. Low silver 5 X 4 inches with a hinged top. Finely chased with an additional chased brass panel at the front. Two rings for a carrying chain.. Very good condition.
