Up for sale is this very good Khanda sword, Late 18 to early 19 C., with a heavy 34 inches blade forged from wootz (watered, Damascus) steel. The blade is reinforced with heavy long decorative steel strip on the spine. The basket shape handle is classical Indian with a 3 inches pommel spike. Grip bount with fibers. Original leather covered scabbard with brass tip. Total length 41 inches. Very good condition. Scabbard damaged, seams open, losses to the leather.
