This Yataghan sword has a very fine pattern welded blade in the pattern known as Turkish Ribbon. The blade is 24 inches long, inlaid with silver decoration (true inlay). The grips are horn and the bolsters are steel covered with silvered pewter. Total length 29 inches. Very good condition. Light pitted spots on the tip. One of the pommel ears is repaired. Typical late 18 - early 19 C. Turkish Yataghan.
