Up for sale is this fine 19 C. Kattar dagger, 9 inches blade with armor piercing tip forged from Indian Crystalline Wootz. The handle is thoroughly and very richly decorated with gold inlay work. Scabbard covered with red silk fabric and mounted with gold inlaid steel tip. Total length 15 1/2 inches. Very good plus condition.
