Up for sale is this very good Khanda sword, 17-18 C., with a heavy 30 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide blade. The blade is reinforced with long decorative steel strips on the spine. The basket shape handle is classical Indian silver plated, with a 4 inches pommel spike. The grip is bound with steel wires (later) and the basket inner side is padded with green fabric. Total length 39 inches. Very good condition to age. Losses to the silver plating. No scabbard.
