From our private collection we offer for sale this very fine Indian Shamshir sword. Late 18 C, with a serrated edge on its entire length. The blade is forged from very fine wootz (Damascus, watered ) steel of good contrast. The handle of Tulwar style is finely inlaid with gold koftgary work. Blade 34 inches. Total 39 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
