This rare type of knife / dagger comes from the state of Kerala on the South West shores of India (some sources though attribute this style of knives to Rajasthan). The down curving solid blade, with a T shaped spine is 8 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide at its widest point. The handle is composed of sectors of wood brass and ivory, decorated with metal studs. Total length 12 1/2 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
