Up for sale is this Turkish Yataghan sword dated to 1207 (1792 in the Gregorian calendar). The blade is 23 inches long marked with a maker stamped and engraved with fishes and the date 1207. The grips and bolsters are silver with niello decoration. Total length 28 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Grip strap restored. Solder repairs on the grips and bolsters. Minor damages on the handle. No scabbard. Very attractive price considering the age.
