From our private collection we offer for sale this 19 C. fine Ottoman / Balkan (probably Albanian) big size Jambiya dagger, with 11 1/2 inches blade. Long handle cut entirely from a single piece of walrus ivory with extended pommel and cross guard corners, attributed to Albania. Wood scabbard covered with silver with fine filigree work. Total length 19 inches (in scabbard). Very good condition. Proof mark on the silver on the back of the scabbard. Very impressive item.
