This pistol is of classical Turkish design and decoration, early to mid 19 C. , but may have been used in Greece or by Greek people. 13 inches barrel marked and stamped. Wood stock finely decorated with silver mounts, niello and silver wire work and coral inserts. Lock finely engraved and in working order (needs adjustments). The lower side of the lock plate is engraved with what might be Greek letters. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition.
